Jake is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Cinema and Media Studies and a Minor in Themed Entertainment. During his education he was a member of student organizations and clubs, while maintaining a strong GPA. Throughout his major, he was educated on all aspects of the film industry, its history, productions, and perspectives. Some of his classes focused on specific filmmakers and styles like Walt Disney or Alfred Hitchcock, while others focused on genre or time periods like Postmodern Hollywood or International Cinema. Throughout the major, Jake was able to gain a broad understanding of many disciplines of cinematic arts, choosing to focus his education in the Themed Entertainment minor. This minor gave Jake an understanding of many of the careers in the field, with classes in History, Art Direction, Lighting Design, Game Design and Development, Critical Thinking, and Special Effects. Throughout all of these intensive classes, Jake nurtured an understanding of many aspects of the industry. Despite his young age, he has already worked with some of the world’s most globally recognized brands and alongside award winning professionals in the film community including Apple and Disney, and Academy/Emmy/Grammy/Tony/Peabody Award winning executives. Even before college, Jake began working with professionals in his diverse and extensive career as a child actor, acting in television shows, theatrical performances, and even operas. Jake began summer internships working with different types of companies in the film industry ranging in documentary film post-production to acquisitions and development of high budget features. His experience is mostly in creating social media videos for non-profits and organizations while his specific passion, and education, is in Themed Entertainment.
